What is a Credit Union?

LASA Credit Union is a financial co-operative, meaning we are owned and run by our members (customers). Credit Unions understand their members’ circumstances and help them to access savings and loans products that they might not be able to otherwise access.

Part of the Community

We’ve been a part of the community in Swansea for twenty years providing safe, secure saving accounts and low-cost loans. We also work with a wide selection of other organisations in the community.

Free Life Insurance

Members aged 18 to 65 have free life insurance on their savings and loans. In the event a member passes away, their nominated beneficiary on the account will receive any savings plus an additional life insurance payment, based upon their savings. If a member passes away and has an outstanding loan, the loan would be paid off. Terms and conditions apply.
